Protein Adventures
Saturday, 25 June 2011 04:07 pmI've started playing around with foods in an attempt to boost my protein intake for P90X. Due to popular request I'm going to start posting some of the higher-protein recipes I come up with.
The brands/types of food I use are in parenthesis.

Combine protein powder, peanut butter, and a little bit of water together in a bowl. You're trying to make a paste-like consistency with the peanutbutter and chocolate combined. Mix in greek yogurt a small bit at a time to blend (alternatively, you could use a blender). Add water until standard yogurt consistency is achieved. You might want to add a TBSP or two of honey if it is still too tart -- depending on the type of protein powder you use, you might need to.
(This last one is honestly my most un-favourite. It still needs some tweaking)
