P90X Week 6

Some pretty big changes this week! I'm excited. I was able to fit into a skirt that I haven't been able to fit into for almost two years. It's still snug, but I'm making progress! I still don't feel like I can really "see" the progress, but my measurements, and now my clothes, don't lie. It's great to have some affirmation that all this working out is actually DOING something.  I'm still struggling with pushups... I'm still doing girly pushups, and I can do like... half of a one-armed pushup. Hopefully by the time I'm done I'll be able to do two. That's my goal. :) And I've seen weight changes everywhere but in my hips... hopefully that'll change soon.

Yay! That's always awesome. I never see any changes. It might sound absolutely bonkers, but when I was 38 weeks pregnant I didn't think I was that big. Not until I look back at the pictures now do I realize how gigantic I was. I think I have a very weird body image. Like.. body image blinders. I know that example is kind of the opposite direction, but I was the same way when I lost weight too. You're almost into the next 10s. That was always my favorite milestone. Just seeing that number go down a 10 was awesome, even if it meant I only lost .2 pounds or something tiny. I'm almost into the 70s. woohoo!
