Christina's Quilt [Finished]

And it's done! I'm so excited to be sending this off to Christina and her hubby. I ended up not putting her son's name on it, for two reasons: 1: I had already fallen behind, and 2: the kid is going to know it's his anyway. So today I get to wrap it up and send it out! Pics behind the jump. :)
This is Mr. Owl. He has light blue eyes that get washed out in every other photo I took... so get your fill of those baby blues, because they don't photograph well. (And yes, Mr. Owl has a 'raggedy' feel around his edges... owls have feathers, and that was my attempt at recreating that 'feel' without actually putting feathers on the quilt...)

Date: 2011-07-19 10:07 pm (UTC)And I see no reason why you shouldn't quilt. :) You'd probably be better at it than I am, since you do all sorts of artsy stuff (like all those dinos for Dexter's room! I could never do that!). It'd be easy to translate drawings over into fabric.
